Fort Mackinac (/ ˈmækənɔː / MAK-ə-naw) is a former British and American military outpost garrisoned from the late 18th century to the late 19th century in the city of Mackinac Island, Michigan, on Mackinac Island.

Fort Mackinac is located on Mackinac Island within the boundaries of Mackinac Island State Park, on the bluff overlooking the City of Mackinac Island and Haldimand Bay. There are two entrances: via the front ramp off Fort Street and at back off Huron Road at the Avenue of Flags.

Fort Mackinac was founded during the American Revolution. Believing Fort Michilimackinac at what is now Mackinaw City was too vulnerable to American attack, the British moved the fort to Mackinac Island in 1780.
