MSI's French site accidentally posts a (now-deleted) countdown page teasing the launch of a new RTX 5000 graphics card model.

This makes Nvidia's RTX 5070 Ti a potential sweet spot in terms of performance versus the RTX 5080 and 5090 thanks to its relatively lower MSRP of $749, even as it uses a cut-down Blackwell GB203 GPU (like the former) manufactured on a TSMC 4N FinFET process.

The RTX 5070 is based on the GB205 die, which makes it the weakest in the RTX 50 series. As WccfTech notes, it has fewer dies than the previous 70-class GPUs but more Cuda, Tensor, and RT cores. It has 12GB of GGD7 VRAM.

If the GPU at the heart of the RTX 5070 Ti can deliver the same level of overclocking it does with the RTX 5080 we could have a champ on our hands.

A new leak points to NVIDIA's mainstream GeForce RTX 5060 Series using standard 8-pin power connectors, RTX 5060 Ti to match RTX 4070 performance.

While the RTX 5070 does not have any other GB 205-based GPU to compare against, it does come with arguably the most powerful messaging than any other RTX 5000 GPU due to release currently, with Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang touting it as "RTX 4090 Performance for $550".
