Minnesota Wild President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Bill Guerin today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has claimed forward Vinnie Hinostroza off waivers from the Nashville Predators and placed forward Jakub Lauko (lower-body) on Injured Reserve.

Hinostroza began the season in Milwaukee, where he led the AHL in scoring with 33 points (11 goals, 22 assists) by the time Nashville recalled him at the end of December. He has since appeared in 13 games for the Predators, recording a pair of assists and averaging 11:32 of ice time per game during that span.

NHLer has seen his playing time drop significantly over the past few seasons, and it's unknown if a team has any spot for him at this time.

The team announced on Wednesday that they claimed forward Vinnie Hinostroza off waivers from the Nashville Predators and placed forward Jakub Lauko on injured reserve with a lower-body injury.
