The Princess of Wales is set to honour iconic British brands with a Royal Warrant - becoming the first princess to do so in over a century. Sources close to Kate have told The Times that she will bestow the warrant on her favoured companies to “ recognise British skills and industry ” soon.

Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, is set to grant royal warrants for the first time as she gradually resumes her public duties following a challenging year battling cancer. This new authority allows her to honour companies supplying goods to the royal household.

Kate Middleton are poised to be Queen of England sometime in the future, and apparently King Charles and Queen Camilla have zero interest in giving her advice on the matter.

Kate Middleton, who is celebrating her 43rd birthday on Jan. 9, has proven herself to be the shiniest jewel of the British monarchy. The princess is married to Prince William, heir to the throne.
