Another blast of Arctic air is heading into Northeast this weekend, bringing coldest temps of season so far coupled with dangerously cold wind chills

Lows Tuesday morning were in the 20s and lows Wednesday are expected to be in the 30s, an improvement but it's still cold. North Texas should see highs rebound into the 60s on Thursday and Friday, but it's short-lived.

North Texas will enjoy a mild Thursday with highs near 59 degrees, but brace for a major chill with possible snow as an Arctic cold front arrives Friday night.

Enjoy a few more days of mild weather in the ArkLaTex as our cold front is on schedule to bring very cold by Sunday. The lingering chill will keep a window for winter weather next week, but the timing of any winter precipitation remains highly uncertain.
