A man was killed and a woman was wounded in what was believed to be a domestic-related shooting in northwest suburban Mount Prospect, Illinois Monday afternoon. The incident happened in a closed shared garage of a condominium building in the 1200 block of West Northwest Highway.

One woman was found shot inside a suite in the building. The other woman was found shot in the lobby, and a source said this victim was a security guard. Asal Rezaei reports.

The investigation continues after two women were shot at a River North hotel Saturday around 8:15 p.m. at Grand Avenue near North Orleans Street, leaving one dead and another injured.
