A woman said she was knocked to the ground in broad daylight last weekend after a man allegedly tried to steal her car.

Robert Jenkins, 50, is accused by the victim of attempting to drive off with her 2012 Mercedes sedan and “dragged her on the ground causing physical harm,” police wrote in his criminal complaint.
