Storm Warning and a "coast to coast" snowstorm forecast, Michiganders are waking up with a few inches of snow in their yards. With snowfall coming intermittently — and a majority of it overnight — Michigan saw 1-5 inches of snow in the past 24 hours,

Weather Advisory has been issued for multiple counties in the northern, western and central parts of the Lower Peninsula.

Snow has piled up in Southeast Michigan as multiple rounds of flurries moved through the area on Saturday and Sunday.

The National Weather Service says Michigan could see more than 8 inches of snow in places as a winter storm spreads across the state on Wednesday.
