AC Milan Senior Advisor Zlatan Ibrahimović has opened up about his side signing Chelsea attacking midfielder Joao Felix on a permanent basis. Felix left Chelsea to join the Italian side on loan in the January transfer window.

Joao Felix has made a bright start to life at AC Milan after he ‘pushed hard’ for the move from Chelsea during the winter transfer window. The Portugal international signed for the Blues on a permanent deal from Atletico Madrid over the summer but made little impact in the first half of the season.

Milan, which generally don’t splurge that much, are prepared to make sacrifices to keep Joao Felix. Theo Hernandez is top of the list in that sense. The negotiation to renew his contract, which is up in 2026, is stalling.
