Kilauea volcano in Hawaii has erupted again, sending lava over 300 feet into the air. The eruption on Halemaumau Crater's floor began at 10:16 am, with significant hazards from volcanic gas emissions and windblown volcanic glass affecting the surrounding areas.

Kilauea volcano began shooting lava into the air once again Tuesday on the Big Island of Hawaii. This is the ninth episode of eruptive activity since Dec. 23, the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory said.
