Blue Origin, the US space company founded by billionaire Jeff Bezos in 2000, made its maiden voyage into orbital space Thursday with its brand-new rocket, New Glenn.
Similar to SpaceX Falcon9 rockets, the first stage will aim for a recovery landing downrange in the Atlantic on BlueOrigin’s ship Jacklyn, named for company founder Jeff Bezos’ mother.
