Police in South Sudan on Friday declared a nighttime curfew the morning after an anti-Sudanese demonstration in the capital Juba degenerated into looting.
January 16, riots broke out in Juba, the capital of South Sudan, where demonstrators took to the streets to protest against the massacre of South Sudanese in neighboring Sudan.
Sudan’s army has recaptured WadMadani, a strategically important city some 200km (124 miles) southeast of the capital Khartoum, in a major blow to the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
