The cause is not considered to be suspicious. One car, a fourth generation Silverliner from the 1970s, was destroyed in the fire.

Part of the train burst into flames as it was traveling from Philadelphia to Wilmington around 6 p.m. on Thursday.

Flames and smoke could be seen billowing out of the six-car train that was traveling from Philadelphia to Wilmington. No injuries have been reported.
