An Amber Alert was issued Wednesday in the search for man sought in the killing of a woman in Central California.

Two girls were located on Thursday after they were believed to have been abducted by their father in Hanford, Kings County.

On Tuesday, a woman was found dead in Hanford and her children were missing. The children were found safe within 24 hours, but the Amber Alert was sent out more than 13 hours after the discovery of the death.
