A federal judge is set to hear arguments on whether to hold Rudy Giuliani in contempt of court for continuing to spread lies about two Georgia election workers after they secured a $148 million defamation judgment against him.

A judge found Rudy Giuliani in contempt of court Friday for continuing to tell “fabricated lies” about two Georgia election workers he baselessly claimed committed election fraud in 2020. Federal Judge Beryl Howell sided with lawyers for Shaye Moss and Ruby Freeman that Giuliani violated the judge’s “unambiguous” prior ruling barring the former New York City mayor from continuing to defame the two women,
