Connecticut officials say money used to pay medical providers could not be accessed Tuesday. Trump officials said Medicaid would not be frozen.

State Medicaid programs across the country are reporting they’ve lost access to federal payment portals one day after President Trump announced a freeze on federal grants and aid.

The Connecticut Sun traded Thomas to the Phoenix Mercury on Tuesday, according to ESPN’s Alexa Philippou. It’s unclear what the Sun will get in return.
