Widespread freezing rain and drizzle are causing untreated roads, sidewalks, and driveways to become icy and slick.

Icy conditions continue to cause travel hazards across Chicago this morning, but sunshine and warmer afternoon temperatures will help melt the ice before another storm system arrives Saturday.
