For the first time in decades, all 120 Kentucky counties are under flood or flash flood warnings as torrential rains from a series of brutal thunderstorms batters the region

All of the WHAS11 viewing area is under a flood watch starting Saturday through 1 p.m. Sunday. Heaviest rainfall totals are expected to be along and south of the Ohio River, with up to 5-inch rainfall totals possible.

Much of the eastern U.S. braced for a renewed round of harsh, soggy weather on Saturday. Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia and Arkansas were under flood warnings, and residents were warned by the National Weather Service to stay off roads.

Kentucky has been hard-hit by heavy rain Saturday, and flooding is being seen across the state. More rain is expected into the evening, and Kentucky remains in a flood watch until Sunday afternoon.
