Brentford set £40m Yoane Wissa asking price amid Tottenham links - Nottingham Forest have seen a £22million bid rejected

According to a report from Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur have contacted Brentford FC in order to open negotiations to sign striker Yoane Wissa (28).

Yoane Wissa has acknowledged Nottingham Forest's interest as the transfer window deadline nears. Strengthening Nuno Espirito Santo 's attacking options is a priority for the Reds, with Wissa on their wish list. Despite a rejected bid of £18-22m, English reports suggest Forest may submit a second offer.
