The Dallas Stars won't have defenseman Miro Heiskanen for the foreseeable future, as he's been designated as week-to-week after suffering a knee injury.
In the third period of a tight contest, Stone was tripped by Stars forward Roope Hintz, causing him to lose balance. As he fell to the ice, he took out Heiskanen’s leg. The blue liner immediately grabbed his left knee and was in visible pain as he headed towards the tunnel with the help of his teammates.
Las Vegas’ Stone fell into Heiskanen’s left knee in an awkward collision, which forcing Dallas’ top defenseman out of the game.
