Baseball season is right around the corner, and the Arizona Diamondbacks take the field for spring training next month. Feb. 12 marks the first day of practices for the Diamondbacks as the teams catchers and pitchers break in the new season at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale.
Opening Day for the Diamondbacks' regular season is a night game at Chase Field on March 27 at 7:10 p.m., against the Chicago Cubs. Arizona's opening series is four games against the Cubs from March 27 to March 30, all starting at different times.
Arizona Diamondbacks pitchers and catchers will hold their first official workout of spring training on February 12 and the full squad will workout together for the first time on February 17. Major League Baseball announced spring training workout dates for all 30 teams on Tuesday.
