Rock Island Police Department identifies officer in fatal shooting incident
The Rock Island Police Department released the name of the officer involved in the January 5 shooting of Jakarta Jackson in a news release. The officer has been identified as Officer Brett Taylor, who has worked for the Rock Island Police Department since November 2021.
