Jalen Hurts has cleared the NFL concussion protocol and will start for the Eagles in their NFC wild-card game vs. Green Bay.

The Philadelphia Eagles begin their postseason journey on Sunday, when they host the Green Bay Packers on Wild Card Weekend. The game is a rematch of the season opener for both teams, won by the Eagles in the first NFL game ever played in Brazil.

Jalen Hurts has cleared the NFL's concussion protocol and is "ready to roll" for the Eagles' wild-card game vs. the Packers.

Jalen Hurts is through the NFL’s concussion protocol, Eagles coach Nick Sirianni said Friday, and will play in Sunday’s playoff opener against the Green Bay Packers.

The Eagles will be back at full strength under center for Sunday. Jalen Hurts has passed concussion protocol and is cleared to play against the Green Bay Packers in the wild-card round per NFL insider Ian Rapoport.

On Friday, Eagles coach Nick Sirianni said that Hurts has cleared the concussion protocol and had a good week of practice. Hurts has missed the Eagles' last two games with a concussion that he suffered in the first quarter of the Eagles' Week 16 loss to the Washington Commanders.

Eagles quarterback Hurts has been in concussion protocol since exiting the Week 16 matchup against the Washington Commanders, missing the last two games.
