The Bears could have had Saquon Barkley and can probably select Ashton Jeanty this draft but former Chicago running back Matt Forte has his own ideas on this.

With Dallas having such a glaring need at running back, the Heisman runner-up Jeanty has been the favorite to be picked by the Cowboys in the first round.

Two of the biggest free agent moves ahead of the 2024 NFL season involved running backs. Saquon Barkley signed with the Philadelphia Eagles and Derrick Henry signed with the Baltimore Ravens. Those signings worked out very well;

The Denver Broncos are going to need to add to the running back position this offseason and while the free-agent market could provide some answers, the NFL Draft is loaded with potential at the position this year.
