The New York Rangers traded Filip Chytil to the Vancouver Canucks on Friday night as it’s been a hectic couple of days for the young forward. Chytil was in Boston with the Rangers, watching a movie in his hotel room when he found out about the trade.

The Vancouver Canucks have traded J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers, the team announced Friday. Along with Miller, the Canucks are sending Erik Brännström and Jackson Dorrington to the Rangers for Filip Chytil, Victor Mancini and a top-13 protected 2025 first-round pick.

It did not take long for Filip Chytil to fit right in with his new team. Sunday night the former New York Ranger scored his first goal as a member of the Vancouver Canucks.
