The NTSB gave an update Friday on the devastating crash in Washington, D.C., between an American Airlines plane and U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter.

The National Transportation Safety Board gave an update on its investigation into the deadly midair collision between an American Airlines plane and a Black Hawk helicopter.

The National Transportation Safety Board is examining "bad data" the crew of an Army Black Hawk helicopter may have relied upon prior to their deadly crash with a passenger jet outside Washington D.C.

The Black Hawk crashed into Flight 5342 just before 9 p.m. as the jet was en route to Reagan National Airport from Wichita, Kansas.
