Earlier this week, Augusta National announced it extended special invitations to two up-and-coming pro golfers, LIV Golf’s Joaquin Niemann and the PGA Tour’s Nicolai Hojgaard, to compete in the 2025 edition of golf’s first major.

Dane Nicolai Hojgaard and Chilean Joaquin Niemann have accepted special invitations into the 2025 Masters field, Augusta National Golf Club chairman Fred Ridley announced on Wednesday.

JOAQUIN Niemann of LIV Golf is returning to the Masters, the second straight time Augusta National has given the Chilean a special invitation. Augusta National also invited Nicolai Hojgaard, a more surprising decision because the 23-year-old Dane played a full PGA Tour schedule for the first time and did not record a top 10 since playing the Masters last year.
