According to the police report, the 12-year-old called 911 after hearing he mother yell “Help! He is trying to kill me.”

The suspect, Makinson Devalcin, 45, was accused of stabbing his partner, Enese Pierre, to death in the early morning hours of Jan. 5.

Makinson Devalcin was arrested on a charge of first-degree murder after Osceola County deputies discovered a woman dead from a stab wound to her neck, authorities said.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said a 12-year-old child called 911 after her mother was stabbed by her stepfather.
