Infosys, India's second-largest IT services provider, reported better-than-expected third-quarter revenue on Thursday, aided by a pickup in demand in its banking and financial services vertical, and raised its full-year revenue forecast.

IT services major Infosys on Thursday reported 11.46 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 6,806 crore for December quarter FY25 and raised its guidance on the back of growth in financial services and manufacturing.

Revenues for YTD Dec24 grew at 3.9% year on year in constant currency and in reported terms. Operating margin was at 21.2%, increase of 0.3% year on year, as per the filing.

This is the third straight instance of Infosys tweaking with the revenue growth guidance for the full year. It begun financial year 2025 with a 1% to 3% growth guidance, which was then revised higher to 3% and 4% at the end of the June quarter.
