Pint-sized pirates are taking over Bayshore Boulevard this Saturday for the Children’s Gasparilla Parade. Here’s everything you need to know about the event.

The Gasparilla Children’s Parade will kick off a week of festivities on Saturday. It will be a fun-filled day as little pirates invade Bayshore. Along the street, seats, grandstands, and gates are already set up.

The Children’s Gasparilla Parade brings family-friendly pirate revelry to Tampa on Saturday, Jan. 18, a G-rated counterpart to the bacchanal that will take over Tampa the following weekend. The alcohol-free version will have a day full of fun, with the kids as the stars.

The city of Tampa has an interactive parking map that displays neighborhood parking for Children's Gasparilla. According to the city, "No Parking" and "Parking By Permit Only" signs will be posted and enforced Friday and Saturday beginning Jan. 17 at 12:01 a.m. - Jan. 18, and at this time, illegally parked vehicles may be ticketed and/or towed.
