He became just the fourth rookie tight end in the NFL since 1960 to earn first-team All-Pro honors – the first since 2002 (Jeremy Shockey).

Brock Bowers shined as the Raiders' 13th pick, earning All-Pro honors with record-breaking stats and a "Superman" reputation.

A week after Brock Bowers set the new rookie receptions record which had stood since last season, Malik Nabers broke Bowers’ record. Now about an hour after Nabers broke Bowers’ record, Bowers took the record right back.

However, if there was one bright spot during the team's 4-13 season, it would have to be rookie tight end Brock Bowers. He broke the NFL record for most catches in a year by a rookie (112), and also broke Mike Ditka's record for receiving yards in a season for a rookie tight end (1,194). On Friday, the honors for Bowers kept pouring on in.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Brock Bowers has broken Mike Ditka’s 1961 record for yards receiving by a rookie tight end. Drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders 13th overall out of Georgia, Bowers eclipsed Ditka’s mark of 1,076 yards when he made a 13-yard catch late in the second quarter on Sunday against New Orleans.
