Does anyone have suggested itineraries for self-drive, self-guided tours? We will have 1 full day to explore north of the river, departing Daintree Village.

We drove up to daintree from port Douglas. We drove first to jungle surfing (highly recommend doing this in the morning as it does get sticky as it gets warmer) and checked out myall beach after then went a bit further up to cape tribulation (stunning!!) before heading back down stopping at Noah beach, marrdja boardwalk, Thornton beach and cow bay. There’s a nice river you can swim at behind masons cafe too. We didn’t plan our drive home just stopped where we wanted to but each beach is so different from the last despite being so close so I’d recommend checking them out. Do take insect repellant if doing jungle walks and mangroves.
