There are multiple choices for trails. The ones we did had very little climbs and stays on sandy ground. If you've ever walked on a beach with a cane, you should be fine. The visitor center will offer you options that are best for you and you can experience the palms just past the visitor center.

You can enter from the south side, they are beautiful and just stop your car. You can also depending where you are the Borrego Spring park, there were beautiful flowers.
