I highly recommend this park - we loved it! We camped at a site with electricity and it was perfect for my friend and I. The bathrooms of the campground were nice and clean, which was a pleasant surp…Full review by Abbi B

I wish I could give this state park 10 stars! I had booked a cabin in advance, and was terrified that my family was going to be miserable for 2 whole days in a "rustic cabin". We ended up having such…Full review by Scarlett628

We were here about 30 years ago. Still peaceful and beautiful. Lots of trails was too cool for lake fun but plan to go back. Camped this time but would like to bring grandchildren next timeFull review by Q5604WEbarbaran

Q:
Are there firepits at the cabins?
A:
I don't recall any fire pits. They provide chairs outside the rooms and there is a front yard among the trees that a person could mingle.

Hi. there. Unfortunately, Pickett State Park is rural enough that there aren't any nearby food options for going out to eat. The closest small town (Jamestown, TN) is about 25 minutes out one-way, and there isn't a wide offering of options there. If you are staying at a cabin in the park, I would recommend instead that you make a stop in Jamestown to buy groceries on the way in and use those to make meals while you're staying the park. All of the family-sized cabins have full kitchens, and we prepared all of our meals that way when did a three-day stay there back in May 2022. Good luck with your trip planning!
Q:
When is the bluegrass festival 2019?
