Mary Ann, I think 10 years old would be at the top end of the age for the museum. They have 2 floors of fun but I would say it would be geared more towards your 5 year old. We took a 2 year old and she had a blast. She didn't want to go past the rubber sand box. The water table and little grocery store are fun for older kids but I can't say a 10 year old would have a great time. I think 5 would be the age it's designed for if I were to judge. Just depends on what they are in to.
