The fishing at Gouldsboro state park is fair.Way to weedy at the boat launch end of the lake.The lake is a middle sized lake about 250 acres.It's great for kayaking.Full review by Rusty S

The hiking trails are ok. You're going to experience classic northern deciduous forest, and marsh/swamp land, with the ever present signs of the last glacial retreat. There is only one complete trail in the park, which is a loop if you string together the three sections. Park at "Old Park Entrance" and take that to "Old Route 611." Stay on that until you encounter "Prospect Rock Trail." When PR trail encounters the park road, make a right and walk along the road, back to where you parked your car. About 7 miles in total, give or take. Oh, and usually some nuisance horse flies are about.
