We live approx 10 min drive from Formby, we must have covered every Bit of the beach etc, we go down there every couple of weeks.suggest you park at. Larrkhill lane of Victoria. Road ,nothing too pay…Full review by Stephen H

It will depend on how fast you can walk and also which route you take. If the distance is 7 miles as suggested above then if you were walking through the nature reserve that involves an up and down walk through sandhills then it could take 2.5-3 hours. By road possibly a little less.

Don't know we are usually day visitors to Formby. Enjoy their are quiet a few caravan sites in and around this lovely piece of coast/ estuary.

There are no camping faciities here. There is just a carpark for use during the day. Lots of fabulous walks though.
