Worthwhile stop for those curious about the folding bridges in Chicago. The museum is pretty small but does a good job of telling the story of Chicago's development through rivers. The exhibit weave…Full review by NinaLeeYYC

No; the Museum is spread out over 5 floors inside one of the bridge hoist lift towers that line the Chicago River. Each room inside the tower is relatively small (enough for a few displays), with relatively steep stairs connecting each stacked room. You might be able to access just the first floor (where the ticket office is) with a wheelchair or walker, but any of the other Museum rooms would be challenging. The lowest level room which shows off the bridge lift motors & gears is particularly narrow and hard to maneuver around.
Some people can spend up to an hour enjoying our entire exhibit, but you only need about 20-30 minutes. And, don't miss the views from the top of the tower! There's nothing like it. …
Some people can spend up to an hour enjoying our entire exhibit, but you only need about 20-30 minutes. And, don't miss the views from the top of the tower! There's nothing like it. Plus you're in an actual bridgetower. Hope to see you. Thank you.
